With the development of technology rapidly, wearable equipment has attracted eyeballs in the market and won substantial orders in short period. Bracelet is considered as one of the most highly acceptable smart ornaments in the wearable equipment market.
To distinguish from the millions of bracelets or to survey among the markets, our “Together” creates a new communication way to maintain further close relationship in separate locations between each other.
“Together” is a project designed for couples, who are living apart temporarily. It combines of the bracelet and App, which are mostly basised on iOs7 design criterion. Bracelet has only 2 sizes, one is 10mm wide and anther is 25mm wide. In order to fit different user’s wrist, elastic material is to be used for bracelet in orderto fit skin closely.

How to organize a proper schedule during the project is one of the biggest problems in our 6-hour time difference team. Is it also a barrier in the long distance relationship? With this question in core we interviewed 25 people who are now suffering in the geographical separation relationship.
During the free time apart from work and study, this device can enhance the feeling of presence, which could emotionally narrow down the geographical distance. We use the advantage of hardware part to detect the heartbeat of users and animate the heartbeat rate in both App and the surface of bracelet.
Majority of the interviewees mentioned that selfish frictions with partners occurred would damage their intimate relations further. On the other hand lacking communication will also harm the connectedness in the relationship.
With "Together" App user can set free time and inform partner of his or her setting in the way of automatically synchronizing both partner’s app and bracelet. Bracelet will be vibrated to notify in private way.
Additionally, user could use "Together" to send heart-warming emind messages. For instance, it will turn cold tomorrow and put some thick clothes. "Together" offers default setting like “putting on thick clothes tomorrow”etc. User could set alert time to remind the other don’t forget to take pills.
"Together" is an efficient App for users to meet their different and special purpose which is a quite privacy. We choose traditional Chinese red with slightly gradient as dominant hue to express love. Logo is a sign for 2 embracing people and with the shape of heart, user could immediately recognize it is an App designed for couple.
